What we capture, and what happens to it.
Written in plain language on purpose. If any of this is unclear, that is a failure on our side and we want to hear about it.
What we capture.
From every kata run and every arena round: telemetry at frame resolution, the decisions your machine made, every fault and failure mode, every human override with the state that triggered it, the exact scenario conditions, and the outcome.
What we do not capture.
Your source code. Your model weights. Your build files. Your internal documentation. Anything on your machine that is not part of the round we ran.
We have never asked for these and the platform is not built to receive them. If anyone ever tells you otherwise, they are wrong or they are not us.
What you own.
Your code, your machine, and full access to your own record. Export it any time, in full, without asking. Publish it if you want to. Take it to a competitor if you want to.
What we publish.
Replays and telemetry from every arena round, after the round. Aggregate, anonymised data from the whole field, after each season. The dojo to arena gap, every season, whether it improved or not.
What we license.
Aggregate, anonymised records, to commercial and institutional partners, under written terms. Never a builder's stack. Never anything that identifies a builder without their written consent, which we ask for separately each time and which you can refuse without any effect on your standing in the league.
Anonymisation, honestly.
Anonymisation is not perfect and we are not going to claim it is. A distinctive machine with an unusual approach may be identifiable from its behaviour even without a name attached. We tell you this because you should factor it in, not because it is a comfortable thing to say.
Consent and withdrawal.
You can withdraw consent for commercial licensing at any time, and it takes effect for everything licensed after that point. It cannot undo a license already granted, and it does not remove your rounds from the public league record, because the league record is the thing everyone else is checking claims against.
How this changes.
This policy is versioned. If it changes in a way that affects what we take or what we do with it, every registered builder is emailed before it takes effect, not after.
You own your code. We never license a builder's stack. We license the record of what machines did, and only under these terms.
