The floor is controlled or nothing runs.
Every machine passes inspection before it touches the arena. Hard kill authority sits with the marshal and cannot be overridden by a team. Arena containment, spectator separation and medical presence are conditions of running the card, not preferences.
We publish the safety standard and we publish every incident. Nobody in combat robotics has a clean record forever, and the ones who pretend otherwise are the ones you should worry about.
The short version.
- Weight classes and permitted weapon types are published with the entry window.
- Human control throughout. Autonomous entries are not eligible in this bracket.
- Safety inspection is mandatory and free. A failed inspection tells you exactly what to fix and you can resubmit.
- Interference with another team's machine is immediate disqualification and a permanent ban.
- Machines get destroyed. That is the sport. Rebuild it or bring another.
- The marshal's call on stoppage is final on the night, with a published appeals process after.
